A Tale of Two Sisters
When one American sister moved to Greece more than a decade ago, she was captivated by its charming countryside, seaside villages, and rich culture. But it was the mealtime traditions that captured her heart. She fell in love with the Greek philosophy of savoring and sharing food: fresh, local ingredients prepared simply - and always enhanced with authentic extra virgin olive oil. She researched the craft of olive farming and built relationships with growers near her home in Greece. Then, in 2004, she and her sister brought The Olive Orchard to life.
The Olive Orchard Today
Since then, The Olive Orchard has become a thriving business committed to sharing the culinary joys and healthful benefits of fresh extra virgin olive oils. Like the family farms that produce our olive oil, The Olive Orchard is owned today by a close-knit group of friends and relatives. Each of us has a passion for food, and a zeal for olive oil’s ability to transform the simple into the gourmet. Building on the initial idea of bringing authentic Greek olive oil to America, we’ve added award-winning olive oils from growers in Italy, Chile, Turkey and South Africa.
